Kinky! Crazy?! Pervert?!
Deconstructing the Stigma of Desire
Interactive Lecture
A Masterclass on Mental Health, Alternative Sex & Authentic Relationships
Have you ever confessed a delicious fantasy, only to be met with a therapist’s raised eyebrow? Have your deepest desires ever been treated like a diagnosis? It’s time to flip the script.
Step out of the clinical shadows and into the spotlight at the Vienna Porn Film Festival for an unapologetically candid, deeply empowering panel discussion. We are diving headfirst into the world of Kink Aware Professionals (kapa-expert), the ultimate allies for anyone navigating the wild, wonderful realms of BDSM, ethical non-monogamy, and alternative sexuality.
Featuring insights from renowned speakers Natascha Ditha Berger and Martin Gostentschnig, this session is a direct challenge to the establishment. Together, we are tearing down the tired, archaic myths that falsely tether the origins of BDSM to unresolved trauma. We’ll dismantle the stigma and kink-shaming that still haunt mainstream culture, reframing kink for what it truly is: a profound, dynamic expression of liberated, healthy sexuality.
Expect a vibrant exploration of modern love. We’ll discuss how to artfully shape and negotiate relationships, proving that conscious communication and enthusiastic consent are the ultimate foundations for authentic connection.
This isn't just a panel; it’s a toolkit for finding true advocates in the healthcare system who want to support your exploration, not "cure" your passions. Come for the intellectual stimulation, and stay for the interactive, no-holds-barred live Q&A. Bring your burning questions about living, loving, and radically advocating for yourself within the scene!

Dr. Martin Gostentschnig (Speaker) is a Philosopher, Clinical and Health Psychologist, Person-Centered Psychotherapist, and Trauma Therapist with a specialized focus on neurodiversity. As a founding member and Vice President of KAPA, he has been a trailblazing Kink Aware Professional in Austria since 2008, bringing nearly two decades of deep, trauma-sensitive, and profoundly LGBTQ+-affirmative insight to his work with alternative sexualities.
